It tastes like Battlestar Galactica
... but it's Caprica.
Caprica is a prequel for the acclaimed BSG show.
At first I thought I wasn't going to like this show, I even intended not to look at the pilot.
But I gave it a try.
None of BSG's characters appear, the story takes place 58 years earlier, and the first five minutes are... at least let's say disturbing.
Well, 90 minutes later, Caprica is full of promises, and there are quite a lot of strong links with the BSG storyline. In fact, I think I'm gonna love that show very much 
The good news is Caprica is airing on Syfy on January 22, 2010.
The bad one is that with such a time line, there's no hope of seeing Kara Thrace again 
So say we all!
